Our French Immersion Language Labs provide a fun, interactive way for students to build fluency and confidence. Designed for Kindergarten to Grade 6, these group-based labs use engaging activities, real-world conversation practice, and immersive tools to make learning French effective and enjoyable.
Language Labs offer intensive study in five different language topics: Reading, Grammar, Speaking, Vocabulary, or Writing.
Fun, interactive classes are led by native French-speaking tutors.
Enrolment is limited to 6 students per class.
Classes meet weekly for one hour per session.
French Language Labs are offered for all grade levels from grade 1 to grade 6, and are suitable for students in French Immersion, Core French, or any other French language program.
Reading Language Lab is designed to help students improve their French reading skills.
The instructor will use French-language books and articles to help students improve their overall French language proficiency and develop the skills needed to read and comprehend French texts with ease.
Grammar Language Lab will help students improve their understanding and application of French grammar rules.
The class will particularly focus on verb conjugation, helping students improve their overall language proficiency so they can communicate with confidence.
Speaking Language Lab will focus on improving speaking fluency and developing effective communication skills
Perfect for students who have already developed French vocabulary skills, but need extra practice to become naturally fluent and comfortable in conversation.
Vocabulary Language Lab will help students enhance their vocabulary skills through interactive and engaging activities.
The class will focus on teaching new words and phrases, and offer opportunities for students to practice new skills through conversation to ensure comprehensive understanding.
Writing Language Lab will help students improve their writing skills.
For beginning learners, the focus will be on spelling and writing familiar words and phrases. As students advance, they’ll increase their ability to write clearly and express their thoughts and ideas in French.
