French assessment

Find out exactly where your child stands in French.

Enrolment starts with a one-hour assessment. You get every skill scored, written comments, and the plan for what to work on first. Fill this in and we call you within one business day.

The assessment is a paid session, $40, the same as any regular hour. No contract and no commitment beyond it.

What happens after you submit

  1. We call you at the time you selected, to answer questions, confirm your child’s details, and agree a day that works around school.
  2. The assessment session runs for one hour, live online, with a tutor matched to your child’s level.
  3. Your written report follows, with all five skills scored, a summary of the gaps, and the plan for what to work on first.

What the assessment gives you

Most tutoring starts with a guess. Ours starts with a measurement. The tutor scores five separate skills, writes up what they saw, and lists what they will work on first. You keep the report.

How we work

Private one-on-one lessons, online, for school-aged children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, anywhere in Canada. Tutors are Canadian, screened before they are given a student, trained on the provincial curriculum, and matched to your child’s level.

Cancel more than 24 hours before a session and it is free. Inside 24 hours the session is billed and a make-up credit goes on your account.

What we do not offer

So you do not waste a call finding out:

  • Adult tutoring
  • In-person lessons
  • Group classes
  • Occasional or last-minute sessions. Consistency is what moves the needle.
