These Terms and Conditions govern the use of tutoring services provided by Bonjour Tutors (“Bonjour Tutors,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By enrolling a student and purchasing tutoring services, you (“the parent,” “guardian,” or “client”) agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Services

Bonjour Tutors provides private, one-on-one online French tutoring for school-aged students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 12.

Services are delivered online only.
We do not offer in-person tutoring, group classes, or tutoring for adults.

2. Enrollment and First Lesson

All students begin with a first lesson that includes a structured assessment.
The first lesson is a paid session and is billed at the standard lesson rate.

There are no free trials.

3. Scheduling and Lesson Structure

Lessons are scheduled on a weekly basis, with a minimum commitment of one lesson per week, unless otherwise agreed.

Bonjour Tutors guarantees the weekly schedule agreed upon with the parent. Lessons are typically delivered by the same tutor; however, if the assigned tutor is unable to accommodate the agreed schedule, Bonjour Tutors may reassign the student to another qualified tutor in order to maintain schedule continuity.

If a parent requests a schedule change that the current tutor cannot accommodate, the student may be reassigned to another tutor.

4. Attendance, Cancellations, and Missed Lessons

Tutoring services are provided on the basis of a reserved weekly session slot, which is scheduled and held exclusively for the student.

4.1 Weekly Session Commitment

Lessons are scheduled on a recurring weekly basis. Weekly sessions are billed regardless of attendance, including in cases of cancellation or absence.

4.2 Cancellations

If a weekly session is cancelled by the parent or student, a make-up credit will be issued automatically, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

Cancellations do not result in a refund or reduction of charges for the reserved weekly session.

4.3 Missed Lessons (No-Shows)

If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson is considered a missed lesson.

Missed lessons are charged in full and a make-up credit is issued.

5. Make-Up Credits

Credits issued as a result of cancelled or missed lessons:

Make-up sessions are subject to tutor availability and are not guaranteed. The regular weekly session always takes priority over make-up sessions.

Unused make-up credits may remain on the account but do not entitle the parent to guaranteed scheduling, priority booking, or specific time slots.

Credits must be used while the student remains actively enrolled in tutoring services.

6. Pausing Tutoring Services

Tutoring services may be paused for up to 30 days while retaining the same schedule and tutor, subject to availability.

Pauses exceeding 30 days may result in reassignment of tutor or schedule.

7. Fees, Billing, and Payments

Tutoring services are provided on a weekly, auto-renewing basis, with lessons scheduled each week unless cancelled by the parent in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Lessons are billed at the published rate at the time of enrollment and are charged weekly to the credit card on file.

By enrolling in tutoring services and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent authorizes Bonjour Tutors to process pre-authorized debits on the provided payment method for all scheduled lessons, including charges resulting from cancellations within the applicable notice period or missed lessons.

It is the parent’s responsibility to:

Failure to maintain a valid payment method or to cancel services properly may result in continued billing and/or suspension of services.

8. Packages and Discounts

If a parent purchases a discounted lesson package:

Discounted packages are final once purchased.

9. Cancellation of Services

If a parent chooses to cancel tutoring services:

Unused credits are not refundable, not transferable, and not redeemable for cash. No refunds are issued for unused credits or lessons following cancellation.

10. No Guarantee of Results

Bonjour Tutors does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or performance improvements.

Student progress depends on multiple factors, including attendance, engagement, school curriculum, and individual learning differences.

11. Parent and Student Responsibilities

Parents and students are responsible for:

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect service delivery.

12. Termination of Services

Bonjour Tutors reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of:

13. Changes to Terms

Bonjour Tutors may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

15. Reference to Policies

Additional details regarding scheduling, procedures, and policies are available in the Help Center, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
